AI iOS Engineer – Role Overview

We are seeking an AI-minded iOS Engineer to join a forward-thinking team redefining how software is written and delivered. This position sits at the intersection of high-quality iOS engineering and applied artificial intelligence, giving you the opportunity to work directly with advanced AI systems such as RAG pipelines, PR Bots, and refined language models.

In this role, you will design and evolve iOS applications while also shaping the future of AI-assisted development. You’ll help train and evaluate AI models, assess machine-generated code, and contribute to the continuous learning loop that improves engineering workflows across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and refine iOS applications using modern architecture and best practices.
  
  

• Collaborate with internal AI tools (retrievers, evaluators, PR bots) to inspect, optimize, and validate AI-generated code.
  
  

• Collect and prepare datasets from code reviews and pull requests to support model training and quality improvements.
  
  

• Define engineering guidelines, coding conventions, and design patterns for AI-augmented development processes.
  
  

• Manage release pipelines and incorporate automated quality gates and AI-driven checks.
  
  

• Take part in iterative AI evaluation rounds, including SFT/DPO cycles.
  
  

• Work alongside QA, design, and product teams to ensure seamless technical execution and consistent user experience.
  
  

• Experiment with emerging AI technologies that improve development speed, testing accuracy, and delivery efficiency.
  
  

• Foster a culture that blends analytical decision-making with AI-supported engineering.
  
  

 

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of iOS development experience using current frameworks and architectural patterns.
  
  

• Strong knowledge of automated testing methodologies and CI/CD practices.
  
  

• Solid understanding of API consumption, data models, and data flow.
  
  

• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  
  

• Comfortable collaborating via Git workflows and pull requests.
  
  

• Curiosity and practical experience using AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Cody.
  
  

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in an environment that encourages experimentation and learning from AI-generated insights.
  
  

 

Nice to Have

• Experience with prompt engineering or evaluating AI models.
  
  

• Knowledge of modular architectures or dependency injection frameworks.
  
  

• Background in implementing telemetry, monitoring, or performance analysis tools.
  
  

• Understanding of vector databases and retrieval systems such as FAISS or Pinecone.
  
  

• Familiarity with RAG pipelines or fine-tuning processes.
