About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in data governance, cataloging, and analytics to join our team. In this role, you will help define standards, processes, and frameworks that ensure our data assets are discoverable, well-documented, and properly governed, while enabling business stakeholders to access and use them effectively.
You will act as a bridge between business and technology teams, translating requirements into scalable solutions, curating the reporting library, and maintaining high-quality data products. Your work will be central to empowering teams across the organization with reliable insights, standardized metrics, and self-service capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and structure the reporting library, establishing standardized metrics, KPIs, and classification frameworks for data products.
- Define metadata standards and ensure comprehensive documentation for data assets.
- Evaluate and integrate new data assets into the library through profiling and quality checks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align business requirements with cataloging and governance objectives.
- Support the design of data quality monitoring and access workflows for self-service analytics.
- Create onboarding and enablement materials, documenting tagging rules, certification criteria, and common issues.
- Contribute to the design of a user-friendly UX layer to improve stakeholder experience.
- Safeguard high standards of accuracy and reliability across all delivered products.
Your Profile
- Degree in Business Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or data governance roles.
- Hands-on experience with data cataloging tools and processes (metadata management, lineage, classification).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, quality assessment methods, and governance frameworks.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to translate business needs into governance specifications.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to design scalable processes for enterprise environments.
- Nice to have: advanced technical skills in SQL (BigQuery, Teradata), Python, BI tools (Looker, Tableau), backend/UX development, or BI implementations.
- Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented with an agile working style.
- Excellent English communication skills;
