Role Overview

The Head of Business Analysis & Customer Insights will lead a team that operates at the crossroads of digital product, retail models, and customer behavior. This role is responsible for shaping the vision and framework of the Business Analysis function and ensuring it continuously evolves to deliver strategic insights, commercial recommendations, and value-oriented analysis for both product teams and local business stakeholders.

In addition to leading the team, this person will serve as a strategic partner for Marketing, Product, and Business leaders — helping transform complex datasets into actionable decisions, improving loyalty performance, and fostering a culture of insight-driven decision-making.


 

Main Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and implement the global strategy for Business Analysis & Insights, ensuring alignment with business, product, and market objectives.
  • Build, mentor, and expand a high-performing team, encouraging professional growth and continuous knowledge sharing.
  • Act as a senior counterpart to international stakeholders (CRM, Marketing, Category Management, Commercial), co-driving loyalty and commercial initiatives.
  • Promote a culture where insights are turned into impactful business decisions, embedding storytelling and proactivity across deliverables.

Insight Generation & Consultancy

  • Oversee the evaluation framework for market and product performance, setting clear KPIs, goals, and benchmarks across regions.
  • Partner with country teams to define strategies rooted in cross-market insights, loyalty performance, and consumer behavior trends.
  • Develop consultative relationships with stakeholders, challenging requests and offering better answers by understanding the context behind the questions.
  • Guarantee consistency in transforming large datasets into actionable, decision-ready narratives.

Collaboration with Product & Commercial

  • Partner with product teams to align business objectives with KPIs, MVP design, testing, and feature prioritization.
  • Work with Data Science, Product Managers, and Analysts to co-own test design and evaluation of commercial outcomes (A/B testing, personalization, segmentation).
  • Contribute to product dashboard creation and refinement in collaboration with Business and Product Owners.

Governance & Alignment

  • Ensure compliance with international commercial and marketing standards (campaigns, push strategies, purchase impact).
  • Drive the standardization of KPIs, reports, and evaluation frameworks together with international and business solution teams.
  • Represent Business Analysis & Insights at board-level meetings and strategic reviews, articulating the measurable business impact of digital initiatives (e.g., loyalty programs).

 

Requirements

Experience

  • 8+ years in analytical positions (business analysis, strategy, consulting, customer insights).
  • 4+ years managing high-performing analytics teams, ideally in retail, digital product, or technology-driven sectors.
  • Background working with international stakeholders in matrixed organizations.

Skills

  • Expertise in turning data into business strategy and clear narratives (storytelling, prioritization, business casing).
  • Ideally, proficiency with analytical tools: SQL, Python/R, Power BI, Tableau.
  • Experience defining KPIs, designing experiments, and extracting value from customer and CRM data.
  • Understanding of B2C retail commercial and marketing mechanics.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
