We’re looking for an experienced IT Automation Engineer who can lead automation initiatives and help embed modern AI capabilities into our IT ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, curiosity about AI technologies, and the ability to build efficient, scalable solutions that elevate operational performance and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Ownership

• Identify processes within IT Operations that can be automated, and design end-to-end solutions to eliminate manual work and improve efficiency.
  
  

• Build and maintain automation workflows using tools such as Jenkins, Git Actions, and Blueprism, ensuring reliability and consistency across environments.
  
  

Solution Development

• Deliver automation services that support IT teams and other departments, helping standardize procedures and accelerate daily operations.
  
  

AI & Virtual Assistants

• Contribute to the creation of AI-based tools such as chatbots and virtual assistants, using Generative AI platforms (e.g., Google Gemini / Vertex AI, OpenAI, Llama), improving IT support responsiveness and user experience.
  
  

Systems & AI Integration

• Develop secure, high-performance integrations between backend systems and external AI providers, managing APIs, scaling concerns, and data flow reliability.
  
  

Innovation & Internal Knowledge

• Stay updated on developments in AI and automation, identifying ways to incorporate emerging capabilities into IT processes and sharing insights with the wider team.
  
  

CI/CD & DevOps Practices

• Design and operate CI/CD pipelines that support rapid, stable software delivery.
  
  

• Apply strong DevOps knowledge, including cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, load balancing), to support large-scale automation and AI-driven workloads.
  
  

(Optional) LLM Deployment

• Deploy and manage large language models in cloud environments, optimizing performance and cost for AI-heavy operations.

Your Profile

Technical Skills

• At least 4 years of software development experience, ideally with strong skills in Java, Python, or Go.
  
  

• Hands-on experience with automation platforms like Jenkins, Git Actions, and Blueprism.
  
  

• Solid understanding of relational databases such as MS SQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
  
  

• Familiarity with version control and collaborative development tools (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab) and agile workflows.
  
  

AI & ML Knowledge

• Strong grounding in AI concepts: LLMs, NLP, ML techniques, and search technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, Solr, OpenSearch, Fusion).
  
  

• Experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn is a plus.
  
  

APIs & Chatbots

• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
  
  

• Knowledge of chatbot frameworks like Dialogflow, Rasa, Microsoft Bot Framework, IBM Watson, or Amazon Lex.
  
  

ITSM Experience

• Exposure to IT service platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, BMC Remedy, or Cherwell.
  
  

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and problem-solving mindset.
  
  

• Clear communication and solid documentation habits.
  
  

• Fluency in spoken and written English.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Understanding of ITIL or ITSM best practices.
  
  

• Knowledge of Windows Server / Linux environments.
  
  

• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI services.
