The Company is seeking a QA Engineer Owner to take full ownership of the quality assurance strategy for its core platform. This role is critical to ensuring reliable, consistent, and high-quality software releases. The QA Engineer Owner will lead efforts to strengthen automated testing, maintain data integrity, and embed QA best practices across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end QA process for the company’s main product.
  
• Design and maintain automated regression test suites integrated into CI/CD workflows.
  
• Collaborate with developers on strategies for unit and integration testing.
  
• Create and maintain clear, comprehensive test documentation.
  
• Identify, document, and communicate bugs with detailed, actionable feedback to reduce debugging time.
  
• Monitor and validate data consistency and structure across complex, large-scale datasets.
  
• Continuously refine QA tools, processes, and performance metrics to align with the pace of product development.
  
• Contribute to technical discussions, offering solutions to QA and data quality challenges.
  

What They´re Looking For

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software QA or test automation.
  
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
  
• Proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets.
  
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail when identifying system issues and edge cases.
  
• Effective communicator and team collaborator, with a focus on clarity and precision.
  
• Proactive and self-motivated, comfortable in fast-moving, collaborative environments.
  
• English communication skills are a plus but not mandatory.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance or load testing tools.
  
• Scripting knowledge in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
  
• Familiarity with data validation workflows or business intelligence tools.
  

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated starting salary for this role, based in Madrid, is between €30,000 – €35,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Actual compensation may vary in different locations and will be determined in accordance with applicable laws and individual credentials.
