About the Role

The company is seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, end-to-end solutions in SAP S/4HANA Retail. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of retail systems, ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience that bridges e-commerce and brick-and-mortar operations.

Working closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams, the architect will define system integrations, set non-functional standards for performance and scalability, and ensure solutions align with compliance, governance, and sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive SAP S/4HANA Retail solutions covering sales, procurement, logistics, and advanced returns management.
  
• Expand an online-first S/4HANA Retail model into a full omnichannel architecture, integrating in-store processes.
  
• Architect integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP CAR, and external enterprise systems (e.g., order management, warehouse management, demand planning, and POS).
  
• Define the non-functional architecture to handle peak retail volumes, focusing on performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
  
• Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs in collaboration with product and business stakeholders.
  
• Provide architectural oversight throughout the full delivery lifecycle — from design and testing to deployment and hypercare.
  
• Uphold solution quality and compliance, ensuring all systems meet enterprise and sustainability standards.
  
• Mentor project teams, promoting best practices based on SAP clean core concepts and modern architecture principles.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  
• 8+ years of experience in consulting or architecture, including 5+ years specializing in SAP S/4HANA Retail.
  
• Deep expertise in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), LE (Logistics Execution), and ARM (Advanced Returns Management) modules.
  
• Ideally, hands-on experience with SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository) and POSDTA integration.
  
• Strong understanding of retail business processes, omnichannel strategies, and system integration landscapes.
  
• Solid knowledge of API design (REST-based) and integration patterns.
  
• Experience working with global, cross-functional teams.
  
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills; capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
