Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure Platform

Overview
They’re looking for an experienced Cloud Developer with deep expertise in backend engineering (C#), modern frontend technologies (Node.js and React), and API design. You will be a key contributor to a digital transformation team focused on enhancing enterprise productivity by building secure, cloud-native applications on Azure, tightly integrated with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain secure, high-performing APIs and services using C# and Azure, designed to automate workflows and enable integrations with Microsoft 365 components.
  
• Develop interactive and responsive user interfaces through React and Node.js to support internal enterprise tools and processes.
  
• Translate business challenges into technical solutions using cloud-native design principles and scalable microservice patterns.

• Set technical direction by defining architectural guidelines, coding practices, and integration approaches to standardize Azure and M365 development.
  
• Enforce robust deployment, version control, and CI/CD strategies to ensure secure and maintainable releases across environments.

• Coordinate the efforts of both internal engineers and external partners to align delivery with technical architecture and organizational needs.
  
• Act as a technical liaison with project leaders and business teams to clarify requirements and define solution roadmaps.

• Support the development of other engineers by offering training, sharing insights on best practices in C#, cloud APIs, and web development using React and Node.js.
  
• Foster growth within the team and raise the overall level of technical maturity.

• Proactively seek ways to streamline business operations through automation, leveraging cutting-edge Azure services and M365 extensibility.
  
• Drive process improvements by evaluating new tools, cloud-native capabilities, and modern software frameworks.

• Establish and document repeatable processes and reusable patterns for full-stack solution delivery, from APIs to frontend components.
  
• Contribute to quality control through structured code reviews, automated test suites, and release validations.
  

What You Bring

• Over 6 years of professional experience in software development, with strong capabilities in C#, Node.js, and React.
  
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, API Management, Azure AD), especially for scalable integrations.
  
• A proven track record in defining cloud architectures, promoting engineering best practices, and delivering business-aligned software solutions.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate functional requirements into technical implementations.
  
• Experience mentoring development teams on cloud and modern web technologies.
  

Desirable Experience

• Familiarity with low-code automation platforms such as Power Platform or n8n.
  
• Background in integrating services across the Microsoft 365 environment.
  
• Exposure to generative AI tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI LLMs) to enhance application intelligence.
  
• Comfortable working with external vendors in distributed engineering setups.
  
• Certifications related to Azure or Microsoft 365 technologies are considered a plus.
