Your Tasks

• Develop product data solutions (e.g., web-based applications, RESTful APIs, and data-flow pipelines) using microservice and message-driven architecture approaches.

• Establish seamless data integration from on-premises systems to the cloud, as well as from external sources into the company’s system landscape.

• Design and implement end-to-end cloud-native monitoring and alerting frameworks.

• Leverage serverless and stateless computing solutions such as Cloud Functions and Cloud Run in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Take full ownership of the development lifecycle, from refining requirements with business stakeholders and creating the technical concept, through to implementation and continuous improvement of the solution.

• Drive technology innovation in the product data domain by adopting modern practices and tools.

Your Profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Business Information Systems, or equivalent qualification.

• Several years of professional experience developing backend solutions with Java and Spring Boot.

• Solid hands-on experience in software development, with proven ability to build large-scale, distributed applications using resilience patterns in microservice architectures and RESTful API design.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

• Familiarity with quality assurance practices and testing methods.

• Practical experience building microservice solutions on cloud platforms, preferably GCP, is a strong plus.

• Experience in data management, particularly product data management in the retail industry, is highly desirable.
